Yeah, thats right... I've neglected the blog I swore I would frequently update for nearly a year now. In that year I've done many things, but notably, I've been on another cross country road trip with Jesse, I moved to New Jersey, left a completely good job for a completely crappy one, and taken lots of photos, most of which I feel nothing towards (nothing personal I just don't love them). Anyways, I figured since I pay money to host this blog I might as well do a better job at keeping it up, so here we go...
On to the good stuff.
To make a long story short I got called out of my job (thank god because I wasn't about to drive 20 minutes in BOMB CYCLONE [yep, its a real thing] to witness at a restaurant that wouldn't see any customers) and Jesse and I thought it would be a good idea to do something with our day. We bundled up; I put on a bodysuits on underneath everything, and started the truck and drove to a nearby lake. Our plan was to find a place to park the truck nearby so we could jump in and out while shooting to stay warm, unfortunately that part of our plan fell through but surly enough we intend to shoot. We had just a short walk to the boat launch of the lake we decided to shoot at, but with the wether being so extreme it felt like a mile. Walked a few feet out on the ice and began shooting despite the gusts of ice cold wind compete with falling snow. In about 10 minutes I was far too cold to continue, so we sped walked back to the truck to warm up before shooting again. Eventually, after several trips back and forth we decided we were satisfied with our photos and we went back home to warm up.
